LITTLE ROCK NINE 1957
After the Supreme Court ruling in Brown v. Board of Education, segregated schooling for education was legally made unequal which motivated the Little Rock Nine to integrate Central High School. Their efforts struck an outreach as one of the most popular movements for civil rights justice. The African American students were exposed to violence, verbal abuse, and a huge mob of whites disgusted by their presence. The nine continued their fight for freedom and approached Central High School despite the negative outbreak of the town's setting. In 1957 Little Rock, Arkansas would change forever, these students became apart of history, an example of courage and willingness for their future generation. Although they were held off by guards, beaten, arrested and violently exposed they fought harder than any other person would to be able to get the education and grounds they deserved. The previously "All White school" was in for an awakening when nationally the halt on their entrance was stopped, as they walked through Central High School's doors the liberation overwhelmed them.
